SSM and MUARSM

MUARSM finally ended ( 2 weeks ago, so this is an outdated post ). Only one more task left for SSM - finish the manuscript for publication. Hopefully it'll be able to publish hah. I've to thank my group mates(Ainul, Hilmi, Lyn) and supervisors (Dr Fairus, Prof Farihah) hah for all their efforts in helping me as a group leader(cabut undi kena one.. > <) to finish everything from preparing proposals, doing the research, helping for the poster presentation and also in completing the manuscript.

And our efforts paid off (argh, we're given a chance to present in another conference which i don't really feel like doing)???? We got the 4th place for the poster presentation in MUARSM.
Too bad I don't have any photos of my group-mates, supervisors and myself to show hah. XD.
However, I've these to show :

argh, now left the NRIC thingy only(ponteng 1 week of Surgical Posting to go to USM).. I don't really feel like going for another conference hah, but it's too late to regret... hopefully it'll really be beneficial hah - a bliss in disguise.. > <.

SCKLM2012 and Proposal

Joined the standard chartered 10km run... Not bad my timing, though, it could'd been faster if i'd run together with ryan... anyway, still not bad hah, completed it in approx less than 59minutes....
next run, NIKE run, hopefully i'll still be interested to join that time hah.. XD

wow.. PROpOSAL!!!!!!!! XD... Congratulations to Mr Wong Fu Chong and his fiancee, Lim Shiao Xian .. XD

*maybe if i've the time and enthusiasm to write a longer post, i might write one about our preparation and the proposal itself (but huh, it doesn't feels rite writing about other people's proposal in your own blog).. XD.

JKM ENDs!!!!!!!!

Time flies freaking fast, and here i am now back here in HUKM, sitting on the chair enjoying the nice view of the blood-stained evening sky from within the cosy and comfortable B4402 room. It's undeniably nice to be able return to the throne, reuniting with the royal members after a long 2 months battle at an unknown region where 'the survival of the fittest' rule applies even among us companions. "The weak will always be the prey." This statement had been reinforced and undoubtly had been embedded into the deepest part of my brain and will unmistakenly reminds me of how self-centered and egocentric a human can be, for God knows how long. It's surprising to see how far someone can go to fulfil their selfish desires, neglecting the feelings and the needs of everyone else just to assure that their spoiled life is a little bit more comfortable. Frankly, i do abhor people who are overindulged in themselves. Wouldn't it be better to take a step back to let some other people who benefits more from the privilege have it?


Awww..... Let's move on to something else, it's getting on my nerve dy. XD.....








I'd officially finished my JKM posting. XD... And one word for this posting, EPIC!!!!!!!!!. XD.. Though the load of assignment was a little bit larger than what i'd expected, overall, the posting is a thumbs up. XD. Talking bout friends here in this posting, I'd never thought intially that i would have that much fun with them. Thanks to my HOUSEMATES, MrLoo, MrYirong, MrJuinyi and MR Chan, I'd such a great time in the Rumah Sewa, and yea, undoubtly, the days when i was having fever were the days i enjoyed the most. XD.. And not to forget MrRyan, MrFuchong, MrJojo and MrHari, XD, you guys rocks.. and MissAli and MissPC and the other gals there JKM.. XD. din know that i could have such a great time wit you guys.

To all my friends who will be doing JKM posting later, XD, Enjoy Everybit of it there. Frankly, i'd never liked the place, the posting when i was actually in the post, and i'll take back those words now.

JKM On-Call (Mosquito Catching Night)

Who said JKM no on-call?? XD... we do have on-calls, though ours are completely different from the other postings.. O&G students wait for pregnant ladies to give birth, surgical students waiting for special procedures to be perform, but us JKM wait for MOSQUITOES to come.. XD..
There;re a few ways to catch our specimens.. XD

The first way :
Bare-leg-catch - one is supposed to reveal his/her juicy leg acting like a bait to attract the mosquitoes.Once it lands on your flesh, you're supposed to catch it with a tube... XD.. but it's very risky, try guess wat will happen if tat nyamuk carries parasites or virus and tergigit you..

2nd way :
forgot wat name dy... basically tat lubang there is supposed to suck mosquitoes inside.... the mosquitoes trapped inside will be collected later.... (they use a bait which smells like !@#$)
3rd way :
Human-by-trap - a person(the bait) masuk inside a mosquito net... there's a second layer of mosquito net outside the inner mosquito net which is used to trap the mosquitoes outside the inner net.. XD

But before going to the mosquito place, they took us to :

In an unrelated incident, which happened here in Tg Karang, there's one mangkuk boy who din switch on the mosquito repellent before going to sleep (tat mangkuk = LOO YING YI).... and due to this, his roomie get these :


The poor roomie had to cover himself with his blanket even though he was sweating like hell, in the hope to escape the attacks of the gluttonous mosquitoes yg tak tau rasa kenyang.. T-T....

initially, i was standing on the neutral side, but now............ you did it to yourself...

well, everything would be fine if that place is nearer to X, it could neutralize everything, but too bad, it's farther, and it's A LOT FARTHER............
and it's all because of that, my superb INTENSIVE BASKET TRAINING was jeopardized... ==_==...

and yea, i know i was a bit selfish at first for making tat planning without discussing with every of us first, but hey, who to blame if we made the first move to choosing the Y-mates..
and i know i'm not that qualify to label you as one, but i've the strong urge to shout out that YOU'RE @#$%^ SELFISH... and i really FREAKING FREAKINGLY MEAN it..

i understand the need of people to be selfish, but dun get overboard please.... PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2009 Year of Embarrassment for Geminians???

==_==.... and on the first day of 2009, i did something embarrassing, and then the year ended with yet another embarrassing thing...

December 31, 2009 - Mr X is having his birthday at Jan 1. But on day 30th December(Wednesday, 10pm ++), when i surfed Facebook, it told me that Mr X birthday is on Thursday, which is a glitch there, his birthday should be on Friday but i din notice.. I was soooo tired that day, and i'm sure i'll be able to sleep within seconds if i get to my bed, but yet, i endured and waited till 12am to drop him a message in Facebook. And i only realized it after Miss Y told me that i was WRONG!!!!!!!!!!

Damn memalukan, dahlah sudah bodoh, tak mau tidur dan merana 2jam lebih, mau wish kat hari yang salah.. ==_==.. dan dinampak orang lagi..... WUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways, GOOD BYE 2009, and WELCOME 2010.. ^^.. hopefully, 2010 will be a better year for Geminians.

Reflect reflect

Another sem passes by again and this time, the time really did fly at the speed of light.... it was like just yesterday when i'd finished the first module(blood and lymph module).. another freakingly amazing sem and i quite like this sem's pbl... it was better than wat i'd expect, Mr D wasn't that bad actually... the only thing is and i hope i didn't annoyed or irritate anyone in my pbl.... ^^... if i did, i menyusun 10 jari i sekarang dan mohon ampun... =(... maafkanlah budak yg paling bergaya di pbl anda ini..


so many things happened this sem.... terannoyed and teriritated so many friends...
hoping tat everything will change back to be like in first year after having a one week break at home di mana i akan refresh dan reload tahap kesabaran, toleransi dan semangat setia kawan..... NEW SEM, MARIlah.. XD....

Pseudomonas aeruginosa :

1) Gram negative bacilli
2) facultative anaerobes
3)opportunistic pathogens

more important : Blue - green colony is CLED agar (still not so important)
most important : pseudomonas aeruginosa has a FRUITY SMELL.......

bet the water vapor can be use as poison, XD

Facilitator : Pseudomonas has a characteristic of a fruity smell.... (take the culture, sniff a bit).... see, a fruity smell....
Enthusiastic student : really?? (jump up from the chair, head to the agar culture... take the culture containing green colony.. open the cover.. take a deep breath.....)

The biggest mistake the student made for the day.. He was like, sucked in the air of despair... omg... wadda.. FRUITY SMELL?????? who came up with that word?? aint fruity smell supposed to smell errrrrrrr NICE???? shit.... the smell was even worse than shit....... shit shit shit........... and i can't believe the facilitator actually said 'the smell' is fruity...... curious to know wat type of fruit she smelt.....

conclusion(from lab 12members)
1) the scientist who came up with the description had the worst taste....
2) they do not have enough money to buy good fruits to eat and resorted to bad fruits for Vit C
3) they dun even know wat a fruit is

Pursuit Of Happyness

everybody was so excited to buy snacks for the movie(someone even bought popcorns,XD)

For those who din know, we had a movie, "Pursuit of Happyness" in the lecture hall which is supposed to be one of our PPD class....

(i may be a boring person)
I found that the movie's kinda nice, MOTIVATIONAL and INSPIRATIONAL.. Showed us the meaning about DETERMINATION and UNWAVERING COMMITMENT TO SUCCEED and get back up everytime you fall..... XD... And the greatest thing is, IT'S A TRUE-LIFE STORY...
hoho... though i see many people complaining bout how boring it is(they wanna sleep wor) but hey, at least there're still some boring guys like me who did enjoy de movie.. XD..

Liga antara tahun, keke, at last us 2nd years won one match.... had a good time playing with them though actually i dun really like playing full-court(cos damn tiring)..... and the result from the match = muscle pain, back pain, exhaustion for 3 days...
